Home invasion! Post: Criminal didn’t take anything valuable, surprised anyone was at Sterling’s house

November 11 According to the "Post" report, Chelsea player Sterling suffered the second horrific home invasion in two years on Saturday night. He and his children were at home when the incident occurred.

The attempted theft occurred at around 7 o'clock that night, one hour before Chelsea's game against Wolves. It is understood that the masked man tried to break in, but was apparently surprised to find someone in the home and did not take any valuables. None of Sterling's family was injured and police were called.

Sterling's spokesman confirmed the matter and Thames Police were conducting a thorough investigation. Chelsea Football Club is also aware of this and is providing support. It is worth mentioning that the 30-year-old Sterling has not been selected for Chelsea's first team this season.

This unfortunate incident is the second time Sterling has encountered such an incident. He was withdrawn from the England camp during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar when his home in Cobham was ransacked in the presence of his family, with around £300,000 worth of jewelery and watches lost.

Police named three Albanians as suspects in that case in 2023. They were also involved in 32 other burglaries. The authorities believed that the three men had left the UK. A fourth man, Emiliano Crosi, was convicted of 33 charges last year and the gang stole an estimated £1.139 million between October 2022 and March 2023.
