September 12 News Recently, former NBA player Beverly talked about his former teammate Ben Simmons on his podcast show.

Beverly said: "When Ben Simmons first showed his strength, people compared him to LeBron James. He was highly watched at the time, and his attitude was very calm and respectful. But later he was injured and he was no longer willing to dunk. I remember one time when he faced Trae Young, he did not choose to make a layup but chose to pass the ball."

After being selected as the All-Star for three consecutive years, Simmons suffered a sharp decline in his career due to psychological and physical problems. According to Beverly, the extra pressure from fans makes the situation even harder.

"Do you blame Philadelphia? That's a problem. If you don't do what they expect for Philadelphia, fans will immediately let you know, 'You drink, you're the trash, go home.'
