NBA trading market is heating up! Celtics send Porzingis away, Irving cuts salary and renews contract with Mavericks

The Thunder won the first championship in the team history, and the Russian City held a grand celebration parade. Even the hot weather could not stop the enthusiasm of the fans. Everyone took to the streets to share glory!

Just as the Thunder were immersed in joy, the NBA's trading market also began to become lively. ESPN famous reporter Shams worked overtime just to report the first-hand news before the draft.

The Celtics, who failed to defend the title, are undoubtedly the most active team. After seeing Holiday away, Mr. Shi promoted a three-party transaction with Porzingis as the main body.

Among them, the Hawks get Porzingis (from the Celtics), the second round pick (from the Celtics, the one with the lower mid-scoring in 2026); the Nets get Terence Mann (from the Hawks), the No. 22 pick (from the Hawks); the Celtics get: Nion (from the Hawks), the second round pick (from the Cavaliers). Good news also came from Irving, who was seriously injured and was reimbursed for the season. He chose to reject the $43 million player option next season and re-signed a three-year, $119 million contract with the Mavericks.

Irving's salary cut allowed the Mavericks to get a $5.7 million mini middle class special case, so that during his recovery from the ACL, the Mavericks can seek a main defender in the free market.

Finally, Shams kept it a secret. He told SportsCenter host Scott Van Pelt not to sleep at night, and there were even more explosive deals!
