Longo: Pulisic decides to suspend negotiations for renewal, and Milan management chaos worries him

May 20th Italian reporter Longo reported that Pulisic decided to suspend the contract renewal, and the club's management chaos made him hesitate.

AC Milan decided to consolidate Pulisic's position in the club and had previously provided him with an annual salary of 5 million euros and an extension of the contract expired in 2029. The captain of the U.S. national team, who joined Chelsea for about 20 million euros in the summer of 2023, has proved himself to be the technical leader of the team with his performance. The offer was submitted to the player by Milan CEO George Frani at least two months ago.

While Pulisic's existing contract includes options for renewal until 2028, the club hopes to lock in the player who demonstrates loyalty with a longer contract. The contract renewal negotiations were originally going smoothly, but recently the players' wishes suddenly stopped.
