Modric joined Real Madrid in 2012 and has been an indispensable player in one of the most glorious periods in our history. In his 13 seasons he played for our team, he has won 28 championship trophys: 6 Champions League, 6 Club World Cup, 5 European Super Cup, 4 La Liga, 2 Copa del Rey and 5 Spanish Super Cup.
Modric is one of only five players in football history to win 6 Champions Leagues, and he is also the player with the most championships in Real Madrid's 123-year history.
In terms of personal honors, Modric won the Golden Ball Award and FIFA Best Player Award in 2018, and was named UEFA Player of the Year. He was selected into the FIFA All-Plane 6 times and was named the Champions League Best Midfielder twice.
Modric played 590 times for our team and scored 43 goals. In addition, he won the Golden Ball Award for the Club World Cup and the Silver Ball Award for the Club World Cup.
