October 23rd, in an interview with talkSPORT, the well-known host Morgan revealed the details of his recent encounter and conversation with Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta in a restaurant, and especially shared his views on new aid Jokeres.

Q: Can you share your chance encounter and communication with Arteta?

Morgan: I met Arteta for the first time this week, we were in the same restaurant. There were a lot of big stars there and then suddenly Arteta came onto my radar and I had never seen him before. I walked over and said "I don't want to disturb you" and he was very friendly. He stood up and we shook hands and had a really nice conversation.

Q: What did you talk about with him?

Morgan: I said, "This is now, Arteta. We now have this team, we now have this lineup."

Q: How do you evaluate Arsenal's summer signings?

Morgan: I said, "I think all your new signings are great, all of them. From Souwemendi to Madueke, but you know which one I love the most?" He said, "Tell me about it." I said, "Yocres, and this was before he scored twice the other day."

Q: Why are you particularly optimistic about Yokeres?

Morgan: He asked, "Why?" and I said, "I just feel like he's the missing link. He's a good, old-school, hard-working center forward who runs really well. He stretches defenders and creates more space for guys like Saka and Martinelli. I've seen enough of his goal-scoring ability, and once he finds the scoring touch, he never stops."

Q: How would you rate Jocles' performance so far this season?

Morgan: Those two goals against Atletico the other night were pretty ugly, but he created them by being in the right positions. I think he will get a lot of support and score a lot of goals. Havertz is not a natural finisher. It takes him about five chances to score one.

Q: Do you think Arsenal is the best team in the world now?

Morgan: Well, because I think our defensive record this season is statistically better than any other team in the world. We have a great defense and two good players at every position. If Saka is injured, Madueke will step in. If Martinelli is injured, Trossard will step in. In midfield, you have Rice, probably Arsenal's best signing of the century. You also have Suvemendi, a great little ball-handler. When you combine all of that together, we have incredible depth.
