Kompany: I trust Carl because there are not many choices in our roster

Carl scored goals and assists in the youth team of Bayern Munich, and also performed well in the warm-up match this summer and scored consecutive goals. He also participated in the Club World Cup with Bayern Munich first team. Carl himself recently said he looks forward to getting more opportunities to play in the next big game.

Konpani continued: "Leonard Karl is in this lineup now, and we don't have many other options. This is obviously a show of trust, otherwise we wouldn't do it. There are more than 50 games in a season. We hope that Karl will not leave only 10 games, but will start his career at Bayern Munich."

In the last game against Stuttgart, Karl replaced Ollis at the last moment of the game.
