NBA reporter Jake Fischer said today that the Suns have hope for defender Bradley Bill. They believe that once Kevin Durant is traded, Bill will be able to play at a level that matches his value.
Jake Fischer wrote: "The Suns are confident in Bill. They believe that trading Durant may bring Bill more offensive opportunities, which can allow him to play in line with his big contract. During the recent selection of the Suns' new head coach, many candidates were asked in interviews how they would make Bill perform at the best level if he stayed with the team."
This season's regular season, Bill played 53 games, averaging 17 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game in 32 minutes, with three shooting percentages of 49.7%, 38.6% and 80.3% respectively.
Next season, Bill's salary will be $53.67 million.
