Van Gaal: Manchester United is still a business club

Former Manchester United coach Van Gaal talked about Manchester United's issue again in an interview with Sky Sports, "Manchester United is still a business club, not a football club. I have said this before. When the head coach cannot select players himself, it is always difficult. The coach should be allowed to select players so that if he has poor performance, you can fire him legitimately. But when other people recruit players, problems arise. After all, these players must be trained by the coach in the end, so the power to select players should be in the hands of the coach." As early as March 2022, Van Gaal advised Tenhamher to "not go to a business club."
