The Champions League phase of this season will begin next week. UEFA announced on Friday (12th) local time that the details will be revised, allowing the team to change the roster of the Champions League players with a special application. This means that stars such as Chiesa and Jesus who were originally kicked out of the roster of the Champions League still have the opportunity to join the game in the middle of this season's Champions League.

The 32 participating teams in the Champions League have submitted a roster of up to 25 people at the beginning of the month. Many Premier League players were unexpectedly out of the box office, including Liverpool's Chiesa, Arsenal's Jesus, Tottenham's Terr and other players. According to the original rules and regulations of the Champions League, they have to wait until the Champions League knockout stage this season starts, and they have the opportunity to re-register new players in the Champions League.

However, before the start of the Champions League, UEFA suddenly announced some revisions to the rules, allowing the team to temporarily replace the player if the player has "long-term injuries/diseases". The deadline is before the 6th round of the Champions League group stage (8 rounds in total in the group stage). UEFA statement said: "The reason for the revision of the Champions League rules is to ensure that the number of team participants does not decrease due to unfair injuries and that defensive players are under additional game pressure due to the injured."
