The 2025 "Dachuan Cup" National Youth Women s Football Invitational Tournament was held

During the May Day holiday, the 2025 "Dachuan Cup" National Youth Women's Football Invitational Tournament was held in Dachuan District. After fierce competition, Sichuan Dachuan Women's Football Team won the second place in Group A and fourth place in Group C. From May 2 to 5, the 2025 "Dachuan Cup" National Youth Women's Football Invitational Tournament, hosted by the Dachuan District Party Committee and the Dachuan District People's Government and hosted by the Dachuan District Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau and the Dachuan District Education Bureau, was held at the Yangliu Campus of Dazhou Middle School, the Dachuan District Experimental Primary School, and the Yangliu Sports Park Youth Training Football Stadium. The event was divided into three groups. Women's Group A was a player born after January 1, 2013, Women's Group B was a player born after January 1, 2015, and Women's Group C was a player born after January 1, 2016.

This invitational tournament is the first time that Dachuan District hosted a national women's football competition. The competition lasted for 4 days, with 350 players from 22 teams from 10 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) including Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Guizhou, and Chongqing. As the host, Dachuan District organized more than 100 athletes from 5 teams, including amateur sports school, experimental primary school and Yifu Primary School, to participate in the competition in 3 groups.

On May 5, the series of events came to an end. After the competition, the women's football teams in Beijing Daxing, Jiangsu Suzhou and Sichuan Chengdu won the first place in Group A, B and C respectively, and the women's football teams in Sichuan Dachuan won the excellent results of second place in Group A and fourth place in Group C. Shaanxi Zhidan, Beijing Daxing and Sichuan Zigong Women's Football Teams won the "Sports and Moral Style" Award.

In recent years, Dachuan District has vigorously implemented the "three major improvement actions" of venue facilities, national fitness activity brands, and sports talent teams. Dachuan sports athletes have achieved great results in international and domestic competitions many times. "Tachuan District is guided by the integration of sports and education, and has built 6 girls' football schools and 24 standard training bases, and has successively sent a group of famous football players such as He Xing and He Dongxia to the country.
