August 13th Schalke officially confirmed that the team's forward Pape Meysa Ba's transfer to Queen's Park Rangers failed.
Schalke issued a statement saying that although the club agreed with Queens Park Rangers on the transfer of Pape Meysa Ba twice, the deal ultimately failed. Queens Park Rangers notified Schalke in the early morning of August 13 that they decided to give up the introduction of players.
Schalke Sports Director Bowman said: "We are very confused by what Queens Park Rangers have done over the past two weeks, a stage full of delays without substantial reason and a days-long unresponsiveness to phone calls and official messages. We believe that - especially after the club has reached a two-time agreement - the transfer cooperation should be partner-style."
"Pape has participated in more than 30 official matches every year over the past four seasons and has maintained good physical shape in our pre-season preparations. Our goal is to get Pape back to training as soon as possible."
