Sakki: Serie A teams are difficult to compete for the Champions League trophy, and they are not at the top level from the style of play to financial resources

July 29th Italian coach Saki recently talked about the competitiveness of Serie A teams in the Champions League. He said that there are obvious gaps in Serie A teams in terms of financial resources and football style.

Talking about the club's two-line battle

"They are at a disadvantage in terms of game style and financial strength. You can see what size of investments they can afford to be in Paris, Chelsea, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern and Real. They buy top players and pay them huge salaries.

"The last time a Serie A team won the Champions League championship was Mourinho's Inter Milan in 2010. There must be a reason for it. Just like the tragic situation of Italy's failure to advance to the World Cup for two consecutive times, Italian football is in a difficult period. It is obvious that there is a shortage of money in the pocket, and they also lack ideas."
