May 26th Spurs striker Richarlison posted a photo with the UEFA Champions League trophy and summarized this season.
Richarlison wrote: "At the beginning of this season, the only thing I wanted was to stay healthy and help my team have a better season. I know it was psychologically important to me and hope to repay the love of Tottenham fans and all those who supported me over the past few years.
No one said it would be easy, but I didn't expect it to be so difficult. After day and night of anxiety, treatment, pain and seemingly endless torture. But it's finally over! After another injury in February, I returned to Brazil for a week and that moment everything started to change.
The days with family and friends changed me a lot and helped me get back to myself, the boy who just wanted to play football. The court has always been a therapy for me Where healed, even before I discovered the power of psychotherapy. It was my best good and healed almost all my troubles.
That's it, on Wednesday's (Europa League) game, I played fearlessly until my legs could no longer hold on with fatigue and cramps. I left the stadium with the trophy, and my heart was filled with joy. My team was questioned this season and now became the champion!
Thanks to all those who have been by my side and experienced this special moment together, no matter how difficult it is, you always believe in and encourage me. Thanks to Tottenham - management, players, coaching staff, staff - and my entire team, we achieved this together!
Let's keep working hard! "
