Ranking of missed points in football: Cristiano Ronaldo leads Messi 34 times, 32 times, the former takes 211 penalties and the latter 145 times

October 13th: Foreign media planetfootball compiled a ranking of the stars who have missed the most penalty kicks in modern football. Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi lead the list.

Data shows that Messi missed points a total of 32 times, while Ronaldo had 34 times. Last year, Messi once held the record for the most points conceded in football, and was later surpassed by Cristiano Ronaldo. The latter's most recent conceding was in Portugal's 1-0 match against Ireland in this month's World Cup preliminaries.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo: 34 times, 177 of 211 free throws, shooting rate 83.8%

2. Messi: 32 times, 113 of 145 free throws, shooting rate 77.9%

3. Neymar: 22 times, 91 of 113 free throws, shooting rate 80.5%

4. Totti: 20 times, 86 of 106 free throws, shooting rate 81.1%
