With the arrival of July, the Premier League transfer market is heating up at a faster pace.
Arsenal has been active in the transfer market and has completed the deal to sign Kepa from Chelsea and Subimedi from Real Sociedad.
The 26-year-old midfielder was introduced from Real Sociedad, spending more than 51 million pounds (about 479 million yuan), which fully demonstrates Arsenal's ambition this season.
The Gunners also plan to spend huge sums of money to introduce Brentford midfielder Nolgao and Portuguese sports forward Zhekelais.
However, this does not seem to be the end of their signings. If a deal is reached with Valencia, centre-back Mosquera may also join the team.
In addition, Chelsea's Maduaike may join, and Crystal Palace's Eze and Real Madrid's Rodrigo are also associated with the transfer Emirates Stadium.
Maduaike Trading Progress
Regarding Maduaike, the player has agreed with Arsenal on personal terms and is expected to complete the transfer within London.
Now two clubs, Arsenal and Chelsea, need to reach an agreement on the 23-year-old's transfer fee.
Maduaike is competent for left and right wingers, which will provide the Gunners with stronger offensive firepower. For Arteta, this is undoubtedly a huge plus point, as Arsenal needs to ensure that there are sufficient rotation candidates for each position in the fourth-line battle (note: Premier League, Champions League, Domestic Cup, etc.) that will begin in August.
As Chelsea participated in the FIFA Club World Cup (FC World Cup), Maduaike's 2024/25 season continues and is a good season for him.
In 45 games in various competitions, the former Eindhoven player contributed 16 goals (11 goals and 5 assists). These numbers are likely to continue to grow as the Flound World Cup semi-finals against Fruminense tomorrow and the finals that may be held this Sunday.
In the 2024/25 season, only Palmer (16 goals), Nkunku (15 goals) and Jackson (13 goals) scored more goals than him.
Arsenal hopes to win the best deal for Maduaike, but Chelsea hopes to receive more than 50 million pounds (about 470 million yuan) in transfer fees for their players.
The reference for Chelsea pricing
Perhaps what helps Chelsea pricing are two other possible upcoming Premier League transfers.
The first involves Eranga in Nottingham Forest.
After a great season helping Forests qualify for European competition, the Swedish international is about to transfer to Newcastle United for £55 million (about RMB 517 million).
In 43 games in his appearances, Ellanga contributed 18 goals (6 goals and 12 assists), 2 more than Maduaikedo. Among them, except for one assist coming from the FA Cup, the other 17 (6 goals and 11 assists) are from the Premier League (38 games).
The second deal that may be approved soon is Kudus' transfer to Tottenham Hotspur from West Ham United.
Tottenham's previous offer of £50 million has been rejected. If you want to introduce the all-rounder attacking player (note: you will become the first player to transfer from West Ham to Tottenham since Scott Parker in 2011), you must submit a new offer.
West Ham has spent £38.5 million to sign Kudus from Ajax two years ago, so it is not surprising that they demand a transfer fee that is much higher than £50 million.
Kudus was a quick success at West Ham, contributing 14 goals and 9 assists in his first season. However, while West Ham struggled to spend last season, the 24-year-old failed to reproduce the feat and handed out a report card of 5 goals and 4 assists.
Nevertheless, despite a sharp drop in goal contribution, Kudus is likely to transfer for more than £50 million in the coming weeks.
These two potential transfers undoubtedly provide a reference for Chelsea, and if Maduaike eventually transfers to Arsenal, they can evaluate how much transfer fees they can receive.
