Mirror: Donnarumma wants 500,000 pounds per week, Manchester City has no intention of meeting Paris or being forced to subsidize

Hupu, August 31, According to Simon Mullock, chief reporter of the Daily Mirror, the reporter updated the transfer situation between Manchester City and Paris goalkeeper Donaluma.

According to the exclusive report of the Mirror, Paris Saint-Germain may be forced to bear part of the salary in the transfer of goalkeeper Donaluma because the potential next Manchester City is unwilling to meet his current weekly salary requirement of up to £500,000.

Manchester City is currently negotiating with Turkish Super League giant Galatasaray on the transfer of main goalkeeper Ederson. If the two sides can reach an agreement, Manchester City will consider introducing Donnarumma as a replacement.

However, Manchester City has made it clear that it is unwilling to break the team's existing salary structure. They don't want Donnarumma to be the second highest-paid player on the team, second only to forward core Ellin Haaland. Such a position means that Paris Saint-Germain may need to subsidize wages to facilitate the Italian national transfer.

It is worth mentioning that Manchester United also thought the transfer was too expensive after learning that Paris valued the Italian goalkeeper's transfer fee of £50 million. Although Paris has since cut the asking price, the player's personal terms are still considered too high.

Manchester City spent £30 million this summer to bring England U21-year-old international James Trafford back to the club from Burnley. Trafford's mistake against Tottenham last weekend triggered the possibility that he might be loaned. But while Donnarumma will add experience to Manchester City, the Italians do not have the skills Guardiola wants to be under the feet.
