Hupu News on November 12 According to Sky Sports news, Tuanzebe has launched a lawsuit against Manchester United, accusing it of "clinical negligence". If Tuanzebe wins the lawsuit, he is expected to receive more than £1 million in compensation.
It is reported that Tuanzebe accused Manchester United of "clinical negligence" in providing him with "medical advice". In July this year, he formally submitted a lawsuit application to the High Court.
During his time at Manchester United, Tuanzebe has been deeply troubled by injuries. Relevant court documents indicate that Tuanzebe "can no longer participate in football matches without restrictions or hindrances."
It is understood that if Tuanzebe can win this lawsuit, he is expected to receive more than 1 million pounds in compensation.
Tuanzebe joined Manchester United at the age of 8, rose through the youth training ranks, and made his first team debut in January 2017. During his time at Manchester United, he suffered numerous injuries. Among them, he suffered a serious injury during the EFL Cup match against Colchester United in December 2019. This injury directly caused him to be reimbursed for the entire season.
In addition, in January 2020, he suffered a left vertebral arch fracture. It is reported that he has been suffering from obvious pain and discomfort since the injury appeared and continued to worsen.
The lawsuit mentioned that by July 2022, the situation further deteriorated, and the right side of Tuanzebe's lower spine also suffered the same injury as the left side.
The lawsuit states: Had proper treatment been taken at the time, the plaintiff would have most likely avoided the subsequent pain and discomfort, and would have been able to participate in elite-level professional football events without restriction or hindrance. Although he is still playing at an elite level, the problem has had an impact on his career and income.
Tuanzebe and his legal team accused Manchester United of not giving him enough rest to recover from his injury and not promptly referring him to a specialist sports spine surgeon for diagnosis and treatment when he first fractured his bone.
The lawsuit also states that Tuanzebe felt that if Manchester United had taken a different approach, his left spine problem would not have evolved into a chronic disease, and similar injuries to his right spine would not have occurred.
Manchester United refused to make any comment on this matter.
