The Mavericks' preseason schedule begins on October 6 local time, and they will face defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder at Fort Worth, Texas. On October 11, local time, they will return to Dallas for the second preseason game against the Charlotte Hornets. On October 13, local time, the Mavericks will go to Utah to face the Jazz. The finale of Dallas' preseason schedule is October 15 local time, and they will play against the Los Angeles Lakers in a neutral position in Las Vegas.
