The Athletic reporter Fred Katz reported that the King will sign Danny Schroeder.

This will be Schroeder's 10th team, after he played for the Hawks, Thunder, Lakers, Celtics, Rockets, Raptors, Nets, Warriors and Pistons.

Schroeder played for the Nets, Warriors and Pistons in the 2024-25 season. He played 23 games with the Nets, averaging 18.4 points and 6.6 assists per 33.6 minutes, and his three-point shooting percentage was as high as 38.7%. In December, the Warriors traded Schroeder, but the latter's form declined sharply, averaging 10.6 points and 4.4 assists per 26.2 minutes per game, shooting 37.5% from the field and 32.2% from the three-point shooting percentage.
