Prichard, president of basketball operations of Indiana Pacers, confirmed in an interview on the 8th that team guard Halliburton will miss the entire 2025-2026 season due to injury.
Pritchard introduced that Halliburton tore his right Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the NBA Finals last month and is currently in recovery.
"I have no doubt that he will return in a better form, but he will not play next season and he will not risk his return, so don't have expectations for him to play," Pritchard said.
In addition, the Pacers have signed a one-year contract with center Wiseman. Wiseman was the second best in the 2020 NBA draft, playing for the Warriors and the Pistons. Due to injuries, Wiseman missed all games due to knee injury in the 2021-2022 season. So far, the 24-year-old has played in 148 NBA games, averaging 9.1 points, 5.6 rebounds per game, and 18.9 minutes per game.
