June 20th NBA Finals G6, the Pacers beat the Thunder 108-91. In this game, Halliburton played with an injury. He played 22 minutes and 52 seconds, made 5 of 12 shots (3 of 7 three-pointers), 1 of 1 free throw, scored 14 points, 1 rebound, 5 assists and 2 steals. Before the game, Perkins talked about whether Halliburton should play in the G6 in the show.
He said: "I don't think Halliburton should have played this game. When KD suffered a calf strain before, I told him in person, 'You shouldn't play', but what did he do in the end? Brother, his Achilles tendon broke! When you play at the highest level, there are always people who don't care about your calf injury. They only urge you to go on the court to the limit, right? Do you know who doesn't care about your body? Oklahoma City Thunder."
"If you go on the court with 60% to 65%, are you really helping the team? But on the other hand, what if you miss the chance to reach the NBA Finals? I used to tear the ACL and wore a protective gear to watch my brother fight bloody in the tiebreak. I know that feeling, that feeling is so uncomfortable."
