According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Indiana Pacers will allow Tyres Halliburton's father John to watch the fourth game of the Eastern Conference Finals against the New York Knicks. John Halliburton was banned from watching the Pacers' game after clashing with Giannis Antetokounmpo in the end of the first round of the Pacers' series against the Milwaukee Bucks. But now, he can watch home games in the Gainbridge Arena’s box. John Halliburton will not be watching the Pacers' playoff away game for the time being.
After the Indiana Pacers' second straight year of the first round of the playoffs, Tyres Halliburton's father, Tyres Halliburton, caused an uproar. Antetokounmpo expressed dissatisfaction with John Halliburton's remarks and chased him, causing chaos. Halliburton Jr. immediately apologized for his father's actions, and John later apologized to Giannis.
John Halliburton couldn't say anything meaningful in the box, but he would certainly be excited no matter what happened. He was photographed celebrating wildly in the video after the Pacers finished their first shocking reversal at Madison Square Garden.
Tyres Halliburton, the Pacers will strive to rebound in Game 4
In the third game on Sunday, the Indiana Pacers led 20 points at home, and at one point seemed to be about to sweep the Eastern Conference Finals. Unfortunately, however, the Pacers' offense completely collapsed in a rare way and was eventually reversed, losing 100-106 to the Pacers.
The Indiana Pacers hope John Halliburton will bring good luck and take control of the series again. Tyres Halliburton performed poorly in Game 3, making 7 of 15 shots and 2 of 8 three-pointers, scoring 20 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 turnovers. Still, his performance was pretty solid, and he was a star at a critical moment until his third game loss.
Since his father John Halliburton was banned from watching the game live, Tyres Halliburton's average number of 19.0 points per game
