May 20th news: Mavericks coach Kidd recently accepted an interview, and talked about Doncic's trade and the current situation of the team.
Kidd said: "I understand the strong reaction of the fans to the Doncic trade, in which we sent one of the world's best players to the West, but I also hope that Mavericks fans will look forward to the future - maybe Flag will be the team's flag bearer."
"It's almost the draft, and a new season is coming. We firmly believe that we have the best fans. We hope they support us not only this summer, but in the future. We are working hard to win the championship. We won a championship in 2011 and we plan to win another soon," Kidd added.
