May 19th According to ESPN reporter Shams, Aaron Gordon of the Denver Nuggets suffered a second-degree hamstring strain and it took several weeks to recover.

Sources told ESPN that the playoff star has been looking for a way to play today’s seventh game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but physical condition has made it nearly impossible.

Sports medicine expert Jeff Stotts commented on Gordon's injury: "The latest news is quite unfavorable for Aaron Gordon. A second-degree strain is usually called a partial or incomplete tear. NBA players need to rest for an average of about 31 days (11.2 games) due to a second-degree hamstring strain. Gordon also ended the season early in the 2020 season due to a hamstring strain on the same side."

Gordon also played for the Magic in the 2019-20 season. He suffered a left hamstring strain in the fourth regular season in the park's rematch, and then missed the remaining four regular season games and the first round of the Magic's 5 playoffs.
