On October 31st, the NBA regular season Spurs defeated the Heat 107-101. Bunyama played for 39 minutes and made 10 of 23 shots, scoring 27 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 5 blocks. He also played a dominant offensive and defensive performance, leading the Spurs to a 5-game winning streak and the best start in team history.

In a battle with the Heat, Wenbanyama scored 14 points and 9 rebounds in the first half. In the second half, he scored 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks. He sent big blocks one after another in the last quarter and led the team to victory with dominant defense.
