June 21 According to World Sports, Barcelona is interested in Denmark's 19-year-old right winger Valdegi.
Valdegi was selected for the Swedish U21 team. He made his mark in Copenhagen in 23-24, played 8 games and scored 1 goal (Valdegi scored a key goal in the 4-3 victory over Manchester United that season in the Champions League). On May 2, 2024, Valdegi's right knee had a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament during training and had a quit for nearly a year. He officially returned on March 31 this year (Barcelona has received a medical report, confirming that he has recovered completely), and then played in 6 games, contributing to Copenhagen's victory in the Danish League.
Baldegi's contract with Copenhagen expires in December this year. Considering the competition from other clubs, Barcelona may spend 2-3 million euros to sign him in advance this summer. It is reported that Valdegi's player agent appeared in Barcelona this Thursday and met with Deco and others. If Valdegi joins Barcelona, he will play for Barcelona B first in principle, but the club will provide him with the opportunity to play in Barcelona's first team based on his performance.
