Vazquez said in the video: "Dear Madrid fans, nearly 20 years have passed since I came to Valdebebas with dreams and passion at the age of 16 to put on this jersey. Along the way, every step has been a gift from heaven, and Madrid has gradually become my home.
We have spent countless unforgettable nights together, celebrated 23 championship trophys, and created memories that last forever. Thank you from the bottom of your heart to the Chairman, the Board of Directors, staff, coaches, teammates, and most important fans. It is you who motivate me to always give more.
Today, after more than 400 games, it is time to have a life with me. The club that hits farewell. But I left without regrets because I have given all my strength, and I always know the responsibilities and honors of this team logo on the jersey. I enjoy every game, every training, every journey. If this journey has taught me one thing, it is that no one should tell you that you cannot achieve something.
I may leave Real Madrid, but Real Madrid will never leave me. No matter where I go, I will proudly say that I have been fortunate to play for the greatest club in the world. Thank you for being part of the best journey in my life. HalaMadrid, that's all."
