According to Brazilian media reports, Manchester United is close to reaching a transfer fee agreement with Wolves. Although Arsenal has also contacted the 25-year-old Brazilian striker, he chose the Red Devils, even if the team still may miss the UEFA Champions League qualification next season.

Cunha scored 15 Premier League goals with Wolves this season and had 6 assists. So far last season, he has played No. 10 and directly participated in 40 Premier League goals, second only to Chelsea's Cole Palmer in the same position. Therefore, Ruben Amorin regards him as the number one introduction target in the summer window, hoping that it will help improve the biggest problem for the team to fail to score.

Cunha's transfer negotiations have begun for a long time. It is understood that the player likes Manchester United and is eager to play for Amorin. Therefore, although Arsenal's new director Berta also met with his agent, Cunha is close to reaching an agreement with Manchester United.

reported that final negotiations on personal terms are underway, and he may receive a weekly salary of £180,000 to £200,000. Italian transfer expert Fabricio Romano confirmed: "The deal between Manchester United and Cunha has not changed, the negotiations are still ongoing, and both sides have a positive feeling. The negotiations are still in depth, and both sides need to resolve the details of the agreement."

Brazil's "Google Network" reported that Sir Jim Ratcliff hopes Cunha's transfer fee can be paid in installments, so Manchester United had to add a floating clause to convince Wolves to agree not to request a full liquidated damages of £62.5 million in one go.

According to the rules, if the liquidated damages clause is activated, Manchester United needs to throw £62.5 million into Cunha's account, and then pay it to Wolves to buy out their contract, restore their freedom and transfer to Manchester United. The liquidated damages need to be paid in one lump sum, and Paris Saint-Germain, who is rich and powerful, once spent billions of dollars to take Neymar away from Barcelona.

But Manchester United is short of money. When signing Dutch striker Joshua Zilkize from Bologna this season, they chose to give more transfer fees in exchange for changing the payment structure. The 23-year-old Zilkizen contract penalty was 40 million euros, Manchester United paid an additional 2.5 million euros, and Bologna agreed to pay the Red Devils in installments for three years.

Pakistani media said that Cunha's price is nearly twice that of Zilkize. In order to convince Wolves to agree to the installment model, Manchester United added a floating clause, agreeing to give an additional potential transfer fee of £5 million. Specifically, Manchester United will pay Cunha’s full penalty of £62.5 million (about €74 million) and agree to a conditional bonus of £5 million (€6 million).

This means that Cunha's final transfer fee totals 67.5 million pounds (80 million euros), and the payment conditions for floating transfer fee are believed to be related to data such as Champions League qualification, player appearance and goals. Manchester United also hopes to activate liquidated damages to introduce Ipswich center Liam Drapp. The 22-year-old "New Kane" contract has a liquidated damages of £40 million, but the team has reduced it from the Premier League to £30 million, which is a low amount. The Red Devils do not need to pay in installments and can be introduced directly.

Chelsea is Manchester United's biggest competitor to Drapp Jr. Some passers-by tend to choose Manchester United to return to Manchester, but some say he intends to play for Enzo Maresca (Chelsea coach). Drapp, who scored 12 Premier League goals this season and had two assists, hopes to decide his next home before the U21 European Cup in mid-June.

Manchester United has also been linked to the third potential forward signing. The British "talkSPORT Radio" said that Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo has met with the Red Devils on the possibility of a potential transfer in the summer window.

The 25-year-old Garner winger scored goals in both double-winning Manchester United in the "Cherry Legion" this season, scoring 9 goals in 35 Premier League games and assisting 5 times, attracting a lot of interest. There is no penalty clause for Semenyou, and Bournemouth priced it for £50 million.

Semen was born in London and has English nationality, but chose to play for Ghana, Africa. Simon is about to play on the left and right wingers, Bournemouth spent only 10 million pounds to introduce him from Bristol City, and his contract will only expire in 2029. The possibility of Manchester United introducing Serbia is not very high at present. Unless La Jue can sell Rashford, Sancho and Anthony at an ideal price, and sell 20-year-old Garnacho and 22-year-old Hoylund, they can continue to buy the striker.
