05, May 13, The Team News reported that it was revealed that Leverkusen, who was looking for Alonso's successor, was quite interested in Monaco coach Xuter.
When asked whether to continue coaching next season, Xuter said: "I think yes, there is no other choice at the moment."
Xuter has served as the head coach of Frankfurt and Borussia Mönchengladbach in the Bundesliga. In July 2023, Xuter took over as Monaco head coach. Since leading the team, Monaco has achieved a record of 45 wins, 16 draws and 22 losses, with the team's winning rate of 54.2%.
In January this year, Houtel renewed his contract with Monaco for two years, and his contract will expire in 2027. Unless he voluntarily resigns, changing coaches in Monaco will not become a topic.
