Reporter: After Levi was dismissed, major external investments from Saudi Arabia and other Middle East may enter Tottenham

September 8th talkSPORT revealed that Levi's resignation caused rumors of Tottenham's sale, and the Lewis family insisted that they had no intention of selling.

Levi suddenly announced his resignation as chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, questions about the future of the club's senior management followed. It is understood that although the statement stated that Levi resigned voluntarily, he was actually removed from his post. The personnel change has sparked speculation that the North London club may be sold, which is valued at more than £3 billion.

However, a source with the Lewis family, which owns 70.12% of ENIC Group, said the club does not intend to sell it. Meanwhile, former Newcastle director Amanda Staveli is expected to issue a statement on Monday announcing that she has no intention of bidding for Tottenham. With the club's 13% stake in public, Stavely must do so to avoid rumors of market manipulation.

Earlier, there were reports that Iranian-American billionaire Jam Najafi is preparing to acquire Tottenham for £3.1 billion. In addition, PSG owner Qatar Sports Investment Company also expressed interest in Tottenham's minority equity.

It is reported that Levi has negotiated with Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser on potential cooperation. Although Levi is no longer the chairman, it seems that ENIC Group will continue to control the club. Well-informed people have denied claims that Qatari investors are about to acquire Tottenham. However, talkSPORT's chief football reporter Alex Crook insists that this does not mean that the door for foreign entities to invest in Tottenham has been completely closed.

"It is not clear what this means for Tottenham's future," Krook said after the announcement of Levi's departure. "They say the club's operation and ownership structure will remain the same. But I must say that Ben Jacobs and I have been trying to learn more in recent weeks, and there are indeed rumors that there will be major external investments from the Middle East (such as Saudi Arabia) will enter Tottenham."

"So you can't help but wonder whether this is the first step in the change of ownership of the club's senior executives, although Tottenham currently denies it."
