May 24th Liverpool issued a statement prohibiting fans from using fireworks, flares and smoke bombs in the championship celebrations.

Liverpool will end the Premier League championship season after the match against Crystal Palace, with the team going to win the championship trophy after the match and hold a bus parade on Monday.

However, Liverpool officials have issued a statement warning fans not to use any form of illegal items, including flares, smoke bombs and fireworks, during matches and celebrations.

Liverpool official wrote: "The use of any form of pyrotechnic devices, including flares, smoke bombs and fireworks in all stadiums is illegal and may result in life-banning and being handled by the police."

"In recent weeks, the use of such devices has been on the rise. After Liverpool's championship against Tottenham, nearly 50 burns were reported outside Anfield, with the youngest injured at the age of three."

"After that match, the Emergency Department of Alder-Hai Children's Hospital admitted several children injured by flares, including hand burns caused by hand flares, as well as facial or scalp burns caused by flares falling."

"The last game this Sunday also sets the safety of fans as a priority. The fireworks device burns extremely high, usually between 700 and 2500 degrees, which may cause burns due to direct contact or proximity, especially the flares, which may even adhere to the skin when burning. In addition to high temperatures, the fireworks also release thick smoke, which may aggravate the condition of patients with respiratory diseases and stimulate the eyes."

"This type of device usually has a 'safe distance' description, which clearly warns not to be used in crowded areas or near others. At the same time, some fans expressed concern that the smoke released by hand-held fireworks will affect their sight, affect their experience of watching games, witnessing award ceremony and welcoming team buses."
