April 29 According to the Mirror, Southampton owner Solark has listed the club for sale.
Southampton is currently at the bottom of the Premier League and still needs to score at least one point in the remaining four games of the season to avoid becoming the worst club in Premier League history in a single season.
Southampton won only 2 games in 34 games this season, earning only 11 points, and was relegated seven rounds ahead of schedule on April 6. This is the earliest team in Premier League history to be relegated.
Before the critical summer transfer period approaching, Southampton is in chaos and is expected to have to completely rebuild its lineup to compete in the Championship. The team is still in turmoil and has not yet decided the head coach candidate for next season. Rumors are that they are considering Minnesota coach Ramsey and Shelter coach Danny Roll.
There are rumors that Serbian boss Sorak is preparing to withdraw from Southampton, who bought 80% of Southampton's shares from Chinese businessman Gao Jisheng for £100 million in January 2022, but he is rumored to have enough of it now.
The Daily Echo said that when they first learned of the rumor last week, the club was valued at £125 million. The Mirror has contacted the Southampton Club for a response to the rumor.
