Hupu November 5 News Inter Milan President Marotta recently celebrated a "historic" moment with AC Milan. The two clubs officially completed the agreement to purchase the land where San Siro is located. This move marks a key step for the two teams to build their own modern stadiums in the future, and also paves the way for the demolition of the existing San Siro Stadium.

Marotta said in an interview with Sky Sports Italy: "I think today is of historical significance for the city of Milan, for the two Milan clubs, and for the entire football world. By acquiring San Siro, we realized that this is a landmark building for football. The goal of the two clubs is to build a modern, safe and comfortable stadium. The stadium will also become a benchmark in the area, which will also bring vitality to the entire community. Although it will take time, I believe it will bring extraordinary added value to the entire city."

AC Milan Chairman Scaloni reminded the media after the transaction was completed that this does not mean that the entire stadium project has been smoothly advanced, and there are still legal procedures and potential obstacles to overcome. In response, Marotta responded: "I don't want to make my own decisions, but this stadium must be ready for the 2032 European Cup. I know that there will be many difficulties, and the bureaucratic process in Italy is indeed complicated, but we will not be discouraged. In fact, we thank AC Milan for insisting on promoting this step with Inter Milan after many years of hard work, and I believe that in the end we can succeed."

Talking about whether the huge investment in stadium construction means that Inter Milan will continue to maintain the club's funds through player transfers. Without relying on additional investment, Marotta said: "Obviously, this stadium is a long-term asset for the club and will provide significantly more revenue in every game. At the same time, the club's sustainable development is not only reflected in the construction of the stadium, but also in how to fully utilize the value of the entire football system. There are still challenges, especially the large gap between overseas TV rights revenue and Spain, Germany and England. We hope to narrow this gap by improving the stadium and raising the level of football."
