Manchester United Director: When I joined the company, I thought the situation was good, but I didn t expect that I needed to transform anywhere

Hupu September 20th Manchester United football director Jason Wilcox sent an unambiguous message to Sir Jim Ratcliff and the club owner, hoping that they can give the team more time to turn the situation around.

"I just pray that we have a chance to turn things around, and I really feel that what matters is not whether we will win again, but when we will win again," Wilcox said.

At a dinner celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Manchester United Players Association, Wilcox added:

"It's like a roller coaster ride! I joined last April, about 18 months ago, and to be honest, it was a real challenge for me.

I thought the club was much better than it is now. We lacked the brand identity of football, lack of ownership, the coordination between CEO, football and youth training academy, we just worked hard behind the scenes.

There is no doubt that football clubs need to go through a period of transformation. Don't think about layoffs anymore. Manchester United's entire structure needs to change. It's really important to have a leaner workforce that provides accountability and responsibility... Now we have a platform to rebuild."

After a tough start, the people behind Manchester United felt obvious pressure.

Although the results do not fully prove this, people also feel that things are moving in the right direction.

Amorin was asked what he had talked to Ratcliffe on Thursday, and he joked, "He gave me a new contract!"
