May 9th, the Daily Mail reported that during the Champions League match when Arsenal lost to Paris Saint-Germain, an Arsenal fan was photographed making ugly statements about racial discrimination and homophobia.
This video that went viral on social media is suspected to be filmed in the home team's stands area of the Princes stadium in Paris. In the picture, an emotional Arsenal fan wearing a flat hat and being excitedly insulted a group of fans: "Damn Muslim terrorists", while pointing his fingers angrily, then shouting: "Shut up, you damn glass" (Note: fagg*t, now a very bad ban word in English), and repeated the homophobic insulting words three times.
The middle part of the video became blurred due to the quarrel between the two sides, but at the end the fan continued to roar: "Sister, damn slim", and finally slapped his chest. It is not clear exactly when the conflict occurred, and the Daily Mail has contacted the Arsenal club to ask whether the investigation will be launched.
The video publisher claimed: "I have contacted the victim and she will file a complaint. The security staff on the scene have obviously ignored her warning."
This wonderful Champions League semi-final also saw even worse events, and when Paris fans celebrated their advancement to the final in the city center, a car was set on fire by the youth gang after hitting the crowd. Terrifying footage circulating on social media early Thursday morning showed masked young men wearing Paris jerseys clashing with riot police on the Champs Elysees.
Local police reported: "The most serious incident involved a car crashing into a Paris fan group. At least three people were injured, one of them was seriously injured, and several others were knocked away. The thugs then chased the car and forced it to stop on the side street and set fire to the fire."
According to Le Parisien, a wounded person was carried away by emergency personnel on a stretcher. All the people in the luxury car involved escaped, and their identities and causes of the collision are still unclear. As of 2 a.m., more than 20 people have been arrested for celebration-related incidents, and the burning wreckage of the vehicle was filmed and recorded on Columbus Road adjacent to the Champs-Elysées.
