I didn t win a single game in 34 rounds of the league throughout the season. This should be the most tragic team in Europe.

Speaking of teams that are in full swing this season, many famous teams will come to your mind. In Italy, Juventus did not lose his first game until the 22nd round after the start of the new Serie A season, and his unbeaten 21 rounds can rank fifth in Europe this season. In front of them are Leverkusen who was unbeaten in the 22nd round of the Bundesliga (Round 3-Round 24), Liverpool who was unbeaten in the 26th round of the Premier League (Round 5-Round 30), and Galatasaray who was unbeaten in the 27th round of the Turkish Super League (Round 1-Round 28, because the Turkish Super League team is odd this season, Galatasaray will be bye in the 11th round). At the top of the list, of course, Paris Saint-Germain, who is invincible in Ligue 1, did not end the unbeaten record of the league this season until the 31st round.
At the other end of the list, what about those weaker clubs? Whether Southampton will set the worst record in Premier League history has become a topic of talk about by most fans, but fortunately they have completely escaped this shameful record after dating with West Ham United. But in the Czech Republic in central Europe, a team named Budjejovice is facing a more miserable fate than them.
Czech League A (top) has finished 34 rounds, with Budjeyovice at the bottom with 6 draws, 28 losses and 6 points. Although they have been relegated as early as April 26 after losing to Boleslav 1-2, what they have to consider now is that if they still cannot win in the last round of the league, they will set a shameful record of not winning in the 35 league rounds of the entire 2024-25 season. The last time they won in the league dates back to last May 31 last year's relegation play-off defeat to Taposco 2-1. Budjeyovice's consecutive unwinning games are unmatched in the top 20 European leagues. What exactly is wrong with them?
Having gained such a disastrous season, Budjeyovice's problems certainly could not have been caused by one reason. The club has encountered a series of unfortunate events, each of which can lead to a relegation. "Bojyovice barely relegated through the playoffs last season, but in the summer window last year, they not only did not strengthen, but instead cut the lineup significantly," explained data analyst and Czech football expert Antonin Slayere. "So before the new season starts, Bujyovice's fate of relegation is already destined. However, few people will think that they can't win a game the whole season, and the probability of this happening is too low."
Slayere believes that the collapse of the club is not a single reason, but the result of the joint action of multiple factors such as fiscal crisis, poor leadership and extremely unstable lineup. "The club has been facing financial problems for the past two seasons," Shrayere explained. "After the first game of the season, the new owner took over and immediately fired the coaching staff of the club legend and former players, namely the dismissal of Leirhe and Kradrubsky." This decision marked the beginning of chaos. New head coach Frantisek Straka despised many of the players he had introduced before, and he repeatedly adjusted his roster and used up to 51 different players in official games, and since then the team began to lose control.
"The promised funds by the new boss failed to be fulfilled, but instead sold all the players with potential in the team," Shrajeel pointed out. "Bugjeyovice even directly strengthened the lineup of other teams in the league: Marcel Chermark, who performed best in the first half of the season, was sold to Dukura, the direct competitor of the relegation match. The other players transferred to Calvina, Boleslav, Teprice, Yabronez and Liberec respectively. Of the 15 players with the most appearances in 2023-24, only 4 are still playing in Bugerjeyovice." What's worse, the new head coach also handed over the team's most dazzling player Zdnick Ondrasek to the B team.
After a tossing and making trouble, things reversed again. The management method of the new owner was determined to be invalid. The former management returned in mid-January, and Leirch and Kradrubsky quickly re-taken the team's coach seal. However, despite drawing 0-0 with Dokula in the first game after the winter break, Budjeyovice suffered a terrible defeat in the next eight league games. The team is already damaged, and the club legend is unable to make the situation come true.
In the first half of the season, fans were resentful and angry at the referee's injustice and the incompetent boss's actions. By the second half of the season, fans who were already numb gradually began to play with memes and self-deprecating. "From the beginning of the season, the fans were obviously more angry," Shrayere recalled. "This anger peaked at nearly half of the season, when fans threw 'death certificates' at players and club officials in the stands, and even planned a 'funeral parade' across the city to protest." The parade was ultimately failed, perhaps because of the club's change of ownership and management changes in January, but who knows what fans will do after the season is over?
"As the situation of Budjejovice's relegation becomes clearer, the anger of the fans becomes burnout, helplessness and sadness," Shrayere said. They will play against Dukura on the last day of the season on May 25 local time, which is their last chance to get rid of the shameful record. "We are witnessing the last game of Budjeyovice in the top flight - no one knows when the club will be able to recover and return to the top flight," Shrayere said.
