Skolnick wrote: "According to sources, the Heat have been actively selling Rozier's upcoming contract (valued between $24 million and $26 million under the incentive clause), and almost any return is acceptable, but they especially want to get reinforcements from the frontcourt."
Skolnick also said that the team has not found a takeover yet.
31-year-old Rozier has played in the NBA for 10 seasons, playing for the Celtics, Hornets and Heat. Last season, Rozier started 23 games in 64 games, averaging 25.9 minutes per game, scoring 10.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game, shooting 39.1% from the field and 29.5% from three-point shooting percentage.
Skolnick commented more about Rozier's situation. "The Heat coaching staff has no objection to Rozier's work ethics and team investment, but no one seems to expect him to have a turnaround. And now there are more problems, the Heat's back line is very crowded, which makes Rozier almost no room to restore his value through playing time."
