Pierce said: No blind spots in scoring, three-pointers are accurate than Jordan, and his back beats Durant

NBA legend Paul Pierce recently showed strong confidence in his scoring ability in a show. The legendary striker, who has never been involved in the scoring award, is proud of his all-round attacking method.

"Scoring King? I haven't won," Pierce admitted on the show, and then changed the subject, "but what I emphasized is that I can send the ball into the basket in various ways. People always say that I have no weaknesses in scoring, and that's precisely because I have a diverse arsenal of offensive weapons."

Pierce's confidence is far more than that, and he even turned his attention to the top scorers in basketball history. "You compare all the great scorers in history," Pierce said, "I can always do better than them in a specific technical field." He immediately gave two heavyweight examples:

vs. Jordan: "For example, Michael Jordan, my three-pointers are more accurate than him."

vs. Durant: "Although Kevin Durant is very strong, my back-playing skills are better than him."

Pierce's remarks quickly sparked heated discussions among fans. This star, known for his comprehensive skills and "Big Heart" at critical moments, has a total career score of more than 26,000 points and has countless classic playoffs. He is proficient in mid-range jump shots, breaking through and making fouls, and low-post back-to-body singles. Three-pointers are indeed his important weapon. In contrast, Jordan's three-pointer was not the main scoring method in his era; and although Durant has historically-level projection talent, his slightly thin figure is indeed different from Pierce, who was strong and skilled at his peak in terms of frequency and effect of traditional low-post back-playing.

Pearce's career key scoring data:

total career score: 26,397 points (16th place in NBA history)

three-point hits: 2,143 (career hit rate 36.8%)

highest score in a single game: 50 points

highest score in a single game: 46 points

Pierce's "no blind spot theory of scoring" is not only a summary of his own skills, but also a personalized challenge declaration initiated to the gods of basketball. In the NBA history of top scorers, this Celtic legend has created an unignorable mark with his unique comprehensiveness. Fans might as well think: In the field of offensive kaleidoscope, does Pierce really have the "exclusive advantage" he mentioned? This inter-era debate on scoring skills has been ignited by Pierce.
