May 3rd The Bucks officially announced that the team's core Damian Lillard successfully underwent left Achilles tendon repair surgery today. The surgery was performed by Los Angeles-based doctor Neal ElAttrache and consulted by Bucks orthopedic surgeon Carole Vetter.
Lillard suffered a deep vein thrombosis in his right calf at the end of March, recovered in less than a month, and returned in G2 against the Pacers in the first round of the playoffs. However, in G4, Lillard suffered a tear on his left Achilles tendon and did not play in G5. The Bucks were eliminated by the Pacers 1-4 in a big score.

In this year's playoffs, Lillard, who had just recovered from the blood clot, was obviously not in the form.
