Riley won 6 championships in total with the Lakers - 4 of which were as head coach (1982, 1985, 1987, 1988), one as assistant coach (1980), and one as a player (1972).
He will also become the eighth Laker member to be erected, joining Elgin Baylor, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal, Jabbar, Jerry West, and legendary announcer Chick Hearn.
