James: West only has one championship but the logo character

On June 18, Lakers forward James' podcast program "The Brain of the Field" aired the 13th episode of the second season, and James and host Nash talked about many topics. The topic of this issue is for fans' Q&A. In answering the question why ring culture is so prevalent in the NBA, James said: "When you say he doesn't have a ring, you automatically ignore other people's careers. Have you really sat down and carefully examined this guy's career and achievements? Jerry West went to the 9th consecutive Finals and won only one championship, and he is the logo character in our league, so you can't tell me that because he only has one championship, he can't be in the same room with guys who have won two, three, and four championships."
