If you don’t work hard, you will be eliminated! The Spurs’ forward star has not found a touch in the entire Summer League?

In the previous NBA Las Vegas summer league game, the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Dallas Mavericks 76-69. After this game, the Spurs won two consecutive victories in the Las Vegas Summer League; while the Mavericks suffered their first defeat in the Summer League, with a current record of 1 win and 1 loss.
Although the Spurs won the game, the team's starting line star Harrison Ingram still made no progress. Ingram played 22 minutes and 08 seconds in the whole game, made 2 of 8 shots and 0 of 2 from outside the three-point line, scored 4 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists, and had 1 turnover and 5 fouls, with a plus-negative value of 0. Ingram is still feelingless on the offensive end, his scoring ability is still seriously insufficient, and he does not have any outside shooting stability. He does have certain passing ability and support ability, but this cannot offset the negative impact he has on the team in terms of scoring. Ingram's performance on the defensive end is pretty good, but he also has considerable problems in foul control. Ingram has been a player who has been in the NBA and NBA Development League for a year, and he can only perform like this, which is indeed a bit mediocre.
Summer League so far, Ingram has averaged 18.1 minutes in the first five games, with averaging 4.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.2 blocks, and 1 turnover and 2.4 fouls. He has a shooting percentage of 26.5%, a three-point shooting percentage of 20%, and a free throw shooting percentage of 80%. It is somewhat incomprehensible that Ingram performed much worse in this summer than he did in last summer. Ingram can be said to have no scoring ability at all on the offensive end, and his touch outside the three-point line is even more outrageous. We can't understand why he has not been able to find his touch and his offensive state so far. The Spurs gave Ingram a one-year two-way contract last summer, and they offered him a qualification offer late last month, making him a restricted free agent. From the Spurs' perspective, they obviously hope that Ingram can perform in the summer league. They still have some expectations for him, otherwise they would not provide him with qualification quotes. However, with Ingram's performance so far, we don't know how things will develop next. There are also some players in the Spurs' summer league lineup who perform far better than Ingram, and they don't even have any contracts. If Ingram cannot seize the last chance to prove his strength, he may be eliminated by the team at any time.
