Continue to rise! Yahoo s latest mock draft: Yang Hansen was selected by the Wizards in 40th pick

Yahoo Sports updated its 2025 NBA simulation draft rankings. Chinese player Yang Hansen was selected by the Washington Wizards in the second round with the 40th overall pick, up 4 places from the previous period.

In the list, draft expert Kevin O 'Connor wrote Yang Hansen's scout report:

"Yang Hansen is a tall Chinese player. He has traditional scoring skills in the inside, and has excellent passing vision and strong rebound control. But whether his slow lateral movement speed and lack of outside shooting can improve will directly determine whether he can gain a foothold in the NBA. The Wizards deserve a bet for him - in theory, Alex Sal can provide Yang Hansen with fill-up support on the defensive end, and Yang Hansen's offensive scoring and organization are expected to activate the potential of all talented players in the team's existing lineup."

In the just-concluded Chicago joint trial, Yang Hansen performed well in both the shooting test and the two-day 5v5 matches. In two 5v5 matches, Yang Hansen scored 11 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 block, and 12 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists respectively.
