Warriors head coach Steve Cole was interviewed by Bay Area Radio and said at the end of the season:
"Actually, my feelings have not changed much. To be honest, even if I had asked me to reflect on the past week, I still know why Stephen Curry is Curry and why he is one of the greatest players in history.
When we lost him, it was a heavy blow. And I think the third game was the key... We really need to win that game. If we win, the tone of the whole series will change, and Curry originally planned to come back in the sixth game. We only need to find a way to survive until Game 6, but we didn't do it."
