Spelman was born in July 1997 and is 28 years old, 203cm tall and weighs 129kg. He is a forward player from Villanova University selected by the Atlanta Hawks in the 30th pick in the first round in the 2018 NBA Draft. Spelman has played in the NBA field with the Hawks and Golden State Warriors, who selected him. He has played 95 times in the NBA regular season, averaging 17.8 minutes per game, averaging 6.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1 assist, 0.6 steals, and 0.5 blocks. He also has 0.9 turnovers and 1.4 fouls.
